Here at SWAINT, our purpose is simple, but it is important to understand before we get into how we make money. SWAINT is dedicated to accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable products and more sustainable living. We believe in the impact that switching to green alternatives can have on the world, and we want to help make it easy for anyone interested to switch over. Our website, emails, and social media are all designed with this in mind. Our newsletter features a well-rounded approach by introducing you to green alternatives and brands, helping with the affordability of switching to green alternatives, and more. We value honesty, and we are sure that you do, too. Whenever we add our opinions in our content, we make sure that we are giving you our honest opinion.
How We Make Money
Like many of you, we find most ads (especially website ads) to be annoying, and we do not want to annoy you. A lot of websites use ads to make money, but we did not want to do that. So what was our solution? Well, we are supported by our audience which allows us to fulfill our purpose without compromising it in any way, as we partner with companies to get a commission on sales purchased through links on our website, emails, and social media. This is at no extra cost to you. We make sure to have a disclosure on anything that has these affiliate links. For example, the disclosure near the top of this post. Not every link that we provide is an affiliate link, as we also use links for your convenience and to show sources.
How We Select Our Partners
We understand that it can be hard to find affordable, high quality green alternatives so we strive to partner with companies that we feel have the best alternatives available. Essentially, we look to find companies that have eco-friendly products that we believe our website visitors, email subscribers and social media followers will be interested in, then we look to partner with them. Since we are dedicated to making it easier for you to switch to eco-friendly alternatives, we still include products from companies that we are not partnered with on our website, emails, and social media as long as we believe you will be interested in them.
