1. Allbirds
Allbirds has strong sustainability goals & uses sustainable materials in its shoes. They have a variety of different types of shoes with different materials, but Allbirds offers quality, sustainable shoes for everyone. Most of Allbirds shoes tend to fit in the $100 – $150 range. They are not cheap shoes, but not too expensive either. Overall, the quality is good. I have had a lot of shoes around the same price point as Allbirds shoes and they are similar quality. The support in the shoes could be better, but Allbirds makes some of the most comfortable shoes on the market. Our favorite from Allbirds is its Tree Runners and they are comfortable, sustainable, and the price point is around $100.
2. Native
Native’s bio-based uppers in their newer shoes are sustainable, and becoming more sustainable is a focus of Native. Native’s most popular shoe style is called the Jefferson and its price is about $50. These are most similar to Crocs, but made to look more like shoes. These are perfect as a slide-on shoe. For sustainability, you’ll want to choose a Sugarlite pair as it has a bio-based upper. This is what we use as a slide-on shoe.
